Outcome Results for Managed Care Company #1
A survey was conducted in May 1995 in conjunction with the Optimal Data Corporation by Brigham Young University in behalf of a managed care company. Those interviewed were the parents of Aspen students who had participated in the Aspen Achievement Academy from six months to two and a half years prior to the time that the survey took place. The findings of the survey showed:
- 67% of the family relationships have improved since participating in the Aspen program.
- 100% of those involved in family treatment prior to their child's attendance at Aspen said that their family was compliant with the treatment recommendations of a clinical professional.
- 83% participated in family treatment while their child was at Aspen. Of those that were involved in family treatment while their son or daughter was at Aspen, 100% said they were compliant with the treatment recommendations made by the clinical professional.
- 88% continued family treatment after their child returned from Aspen. Given their experience with the Aspen program, 88% would admit their children into the program if they had to do it over again.
- 92% would refer someone to our program.
